"Our friendly team is looking forward to welcoming the local community to come and experience their new-look Scotmid."

Locals from Laurencekirk turned out to get the first glimpse of the new-look Scotmid today (25 October 2013), which has re-opened after undergoing a refurbishment to improve the store for customers.

Northsound radio star, Aylissa Boyce, cut the ribbon and welcomed the first customers to the new store with free goody bags.

Laurencekirk Scotmid has been modernised inside and out, with a new spacious layout, a larger range of products and extra customer services.
