Earthtime, a relatively new non profit company established in Elgin has become a lucky recipient of a £200 community grant from Scotmid Co-operative.
Earthtime will be using the grant to purchase waterproofs and
wellies for toddlers to allow them greater freedom to explore Moray
woodland and provide invaluable educational and life
experiences.
The Earthtime Adventure project was established by local mothers
Deborah Hockney and Laura Russell in March of this year. The
simple premise behind the project is to generate enthusiasm and
confidence in families to spend more time outdoors, learning about
nature and to spend time outside, with their toddlers, as a
family. Sessions are held across Moray in easily accessible
locations and consist of fun, creative and educational activities
for children and adults.
