Scotmid has successfully completed the integration of Botterills Convenience Stores which it acquired in November 2010.
In just under a year, all 49 stores have been refurbished and
rebranded to the Scotmid format and fully integrated into
the Scotmid systems and processes.
This has required a huge amount of behind-the-scenes activity
involving all the departments in the Scotmid head office, store
managers from existing Scotmid stores, and other field staff.
Colin McLean, Chief Operating Officer, said: "I am very proud of
what we have achieved over the last year. The former Botterills
stores have already made a significant contribution to our turnover
and in the longer term the acquisition will enhance the value of
Scotmid."
