How the Regional Committees Work
Regional Committees are responsible for representing the views
of members in their region, for promoting membership in their
region and to provide nominees for places on the Board. They meet
on average 12 times each year and receive reports from management
on the progress of the Society. They are responsible for managing
their Regional Community budget and for allocating grants to
Community groups within their regions.
Regional Committee members are required to undertake training to
enable them to fulfil their role competently.
